Hi, we're Allison and Cathie!
With over 45 years of combined experience in nonprofits and organizations at all levels (local, statewide, regional, national, and even international), we've seen what happens when social impact organizations become healthy, thriving ecosystems; they’re not only more effective at accomplishing their purpose, but they also give their vision life by becoming the very change they wish to see in the world. In that spirit, we strive for client partnerships that represent sincere and caring efforts to do better for people and the planet, and we approach every project with a commitment to social justice and collective liberation–that’s our endgame and our guiding north star.

We started Mindel Pelchat & Associates because, in our own experiences working within organizations, we found that we made our best contributions when we were accompanied by others. Any project, challenge, or instance of trailblazing, however small, felt more powerful with thought partners and allies, people to share the responsibilities, risks, and accomplishments, to hold us accountable to our actions and commitments, and to challenge and expand our worldviews. We believe that consulting at its best can offer that accompaniment.
